Such things as melancholy and grief, likewise the shadowy side of people interest me. In my work, I strive to present a wide range of emotions. Many paintings are about an unreal world with dark and odd characters and events. They are also about friendship, mysterious encounters and wild gardens. Against the strange events, I also think of sympathy, goodness and imperfection.
