Through art, I try to understand something about myself and the surrounding world. Sometimes the observations are light and amusing, sometimes difficult — in the best case, both. Moving between imagery and imagination, experimenting with different types of presentations. Playfulness is important. I don’t like ‘locking’ myself into any particular technique or style but keeping the freedom in all that I do, like that ‘mistakes’ get to have a very different meaning.
